In Simple Terms - What is a Grid Point Generator?
Our generators have outlets that provide AC power to appliances and RVs. Just like a gasoline generator, you plug in using a standard power cord to get 120V AC power for running household devices.
However our systems doesn’t run on gas, and instead has advanced lithium batteries that can be charged and discharged thousands of times. These are also nicknamed solar generators since they can be recharged for free from any existing solar array.
Since there are no emissions you can use it inside your home or vehicle for reliable power anytime. Our electric systems are virtually silent and can run where gasoline generators aren’t allowed, or during late hours in a park. They provide a large amount of energy, enough to surge start and run a Dometic Air Conditioner that you’d find in an Airstream or Van Conversion.
Designed for use in all weather conditions, our aluminum enclosures have IP53 protection and can operate in all environments - Including the rain. A Grid Point Enclosure is meant to provide power for over a decade.

How is Grid Point Different?
Other all-in-one electric generators are typically small on power, and make compromises in quality and construction.
Companies like Ecoflow and GoalZero are made in China and use mystery components with questionable quality. We only use industry leaders like Victron Energy and Blue Sea, making a system that is reliable. A Grid Point Generator is built from the ground up to be a dependable power source that lasts well beyond conventional off the shelf systems.
Virtually all other solutions are built with injection molded plastic that can’t be used outdoors, and isn’t designed to last. We use aluminum enclosures for our electronics, with waterproof gaskets and seals. They are designed for operation in all conditions.
If you get an overseas solution like Ecoflow and something breaks, they aren’t designed to be repaired. Since we build each generator from hand with off the shelf components, they are entirely modular and have parts that can be serviced.
You’ll commonly see other companies like Ecoflow and GoalZero list a cycle life of just 1500 or even 800 for their batteries. This reflects they are using used batteries that will show wear quickly. We only use all new components. Grid Point Generators have a battery life of 5000 cycles, meaning they can be charged and fully discharged 5000 times. That’s just one way to notice compromised quality, but almost every overseas manufacturer has it.
